Description: [0001] The invention relates to a feed device for sliver for a spinning preparation machine according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
In spinning preparation machines slivers are submitted from a variety of cans of the processing machine. Since it can usually be 12 to 24 cans, each with individual slivers, they must be placed orderly in the processing machine. For this purpose, the slivers are fed via deflection rollers past guide elements about a deflection roller of the spinning preparation machine. In a can change, all cans are changed at the same time usually. So that the slivers do not tear, for example, during insertion or during processing, the change process must be very fast and orderly.
From EP 0 679 741 B1 a sliver feeding device is known, in which the slivers are guided out of the cans via a feeding device with a plurality of rollers via a tape guide part with open slots around a deflection roller, for example in a drafting device or a belt winder. The rollers of the feeder and the tape guide part with the open slots are freely accessible, so that very quickly each individual sliver can be laid separately. The pulley and the inlet to the drafting system or the band winder must be opened separately, which is very time consuming and expensive.
It is an object of the invention to provide a feeder for sliver, which is constructed inexpensively and allows a quick change of slivers.
The invention solves the problem set by the feeder according to claim 1; Further advantageous design features of the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
According to the technical teaching of claim 1, the feed device for sliver for a spinning preparation machine comprises a roller with a plurality of pulleys and arranged below the roller guide elements, and at least one guide roller, wherein the at least one guide roller is mounted on one side of a support.
With the features of the invention, it is possible to pass the sliver without touching over the pulleys past the guide elements in the recess of the subsequent machine panel. By open to the operator side type of feeder and the deflection rollers mounted on one side, the feeding of the slivers to the subsequent machine, such as a drafting system or a belt winder, is simplified.
In an advantageous embodiment, a first and a second guide roller are arranged below the roller beam, wherein on the second guide roller, a cross member is attached to the guide elements. With the two guide rollers each half of the slivers can be introduced separately from the other half in the subsequent spinning preparation machine, this arrangement facilitates duplication of the subsequent band. Furthermore, an easily adjustable arrangement of the guide elements is possible on the arrangement of the cross member with the guide elements on the second guide roller.
The feed device according to the invention in another embodiment provides that the cross member can be fastened by means of bearings to the second deflection roller. Characterized in that the cross member is arranged in a predetermined radius about the center of the second guide roller twisting and adjustable, can be easily adjusted on the setting of the cross member, the guide elements arranged thereon.
A further improvement results from the fact that the guide elements are arranged adjustable on the cross member. The guide elements can thus be aligned alternately on the first and second guide roller.
In an advantageous embodiment according to claim 6, a front and a rear row of pulleys is formed. The sliver can be separated from the cans with it and lead with sufficient distance from each other and introduce into the subsequent spinning preparation machine.
